In early February, I was asked to help with the Live Streaming / Webcast of 2 Funerals in the stunning Lancaster Cathedral.
The Priests at Lancaster Cathedral had initially contacted me to see if Streaming the services was a possibility – They had tried on their own to stream in the past, but couldn’t make it work due to the thickness of the walls.
I went to test this, and had no problems with my streaming equipment which uses 4 mobile phone networks and bonds them together to give the strongest signal.
As always, it was an honour to be at both funeral services. I used 3 cameras for each ceremony and put in some microphones to give clear audio for the people watching around the world.
Here’s what one of the friends had to say:
“First and foremost, thank you for the excellent quality video live link at the funeral this afternoon. I am receiving many complimentary comments about it. “
The Cathedral is a majestic building! I had only been in ever once before and that would be 12 or 15 years ago. When I walked in, It was definitley a “Wow” moment. The priests have asked me to help Live Stream 2 of their church services which are coming up soon.
