In June 2023, It was an honour to be asked to provide the Live Streaming of a Funeral at St. Mary’s Church in Lea Town near Preston, Lancashire. Such a lovely church with very friendly people.
I always do the best job that I can, even if that means setting up more gear. On every Live Stream I provide, I use Professional video cameras, alongside my own wired microphones. I don’t take a feed from the church sound system, or even put a microphone in front of the speakers. In my experience, most church sound systems are unmanned and not set correctly. Even though it’s more time to set up, I always prefer to be in control. You only get once chance to film a funeral so I don’t leave anything to chance.
So as usual, I used three cameras for the live stream along with my own microphones to ensure top quality.
